Bumpin Ballroom is the leaders in the ballroom dance world

Bumpin Ballroom was founded in 2012 by Professional Ballroom Dancers, Danny and Kayla Parker. The studio opened its first location in San Juan Capistrano, Californa and quickly outgrew to expand into our second location in just 5 short years. Bumpin has recently relocated to and is now serving Hunter Valley, NSW, Australia.

Danny PArker

Danny was born and raised in Australia.

Not only has Danny had an outstanding competitive career, but he has had the honor of teaching high level couples across 6 continents and performed in over 80 theaters worldwide. Danny is particularly drawn to the psychology of high level dancing and enjoys watching his couples achieve better results by simply changing their mental approach.

Some of Dannys career accomplishments are:

4 times undefeated Australasian Latin champion (both amatuer and professional)
4 times undefeated Adult open South Pacific Latin champion
7 times state Champion in both Ballroom & Latin
Cast member of the worldwide critically acclaimed & broadway production “Burn the floor” (USA tour)
2 time Australian representative to the world open latin
British open (Blackpool) semi-finalist
Featured dancer in the Sydney Olympics closing ceremony accompanying John Paul Young center stage.
Invited guest teacher in studios in Singapore, Macau and Thailand

Kayla PArker

Kayla was born in America and has been in the dance industry for 30 years.

Kayla started her dance journey in a more traditional setting focusing on jazz and hip hop until she was introduced to ballroom dancing at 8 years old and fell in love.
Since then she has been perfecting her craft and began managing and teaching advance classes by the time she was 16 years old. Throughout her journey she has competed in many amatuer and professional competition bringing home several USA titles.

Loving the business side of ballroom dancing, she set her sights on becoming the best teacher she could and opening her own studio.

By the time she was 21 she met her now husband Danny Parker fell quickly in love and opened Bumpin Ballroom. Bumpin Ballroom became a super giant in the ballroom dance world and has housed some of the best dancers in the industry. Top latin and Ballroom couples have traveled the world to train on Bumpins floor.

Kayla knew that finding ballroom dancing young in her life was so special that she was determined to create the perfect program for kids to learn ballroom dancing. She created the largest kids ballroom dance program on the west coast of USA and is now excited to spread her love of dancing to all the kids in Australia.
